A moderate hike, Stephen Coyote Ridge Regional Park traverses through marshland and open meadow. The path travels through several hills and includes steep sections, but has nothing too extreme to handle. The 102 hectare park is full of wildlife, this includes coyotes - hence the name of the park.
One of the park's best features is Little Blue Lake buried within the Glenmore hills. To reach it follow the trail that leads past the north end of the dog park. A narrow trail, wide enough for two gives a steep incline for at least 30 minutes. The path is marked by usage and no signs, carry out some research before you attempt this route.
Dogs are permitted providing they are on a leash. Camping is not allowed in the park.
